Cynthia Wong's Memoriam is the first of four new works commissioned through Project 440. The project began with 60 emerging composers nominated by a panel of industry experts; through multiple rounds of public feedback and panel reviews, Orpheus selected four outstanding young composers to receive commissions. Project 440 celebrates the upcoming 40th anniversary of Orpheus, in 2012.
