This concert explores nature in many forms, including a new commission based on the four elements by the esteemed composer Charles Wuorinen. The phenomenal Sarah Chang performs Vivaldi’s timeless work, and rounding out the program is The Birds, another Orpheus favorite.

Come early for Orpheus UnWrapped, a pre-concert discussion between composer Charles Wuorinen and Benoit Mandelbrot, Sterling Professor of Mathematics, Emeritus at Yale University. They will delve into the connection between music, geometry and nature.  6:45pm in the Kaplan Space at Carnegie Hall.
