Orpheus Chamber Orchestra Korean Tour

Tour of South Korea

sponsored by MetLife Foundation

May 11 – 16, 2007

Featuring
Violinist Sarah Chang

Since their first appearances in India in 1979, Asia has been a major destination of Orpheus’ international touring activities.  In addition to nearly 20 seasons of bi-annual visits to Japan, Orpheus has presented critically acclaimed performances in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Brunei, the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.  Their 1998 concert in Hanoi represented the first visit by an American professional orchestra to Vietnam in over 40 years.  These concerts with the famed violinist Sarah Chang mark the Orchestra’s first tour to South Korea.
